Some of the best news recently was that Deep Elm Records put up their entire catalog for 'name your price', needless to say I jumped on this like a madman and got a bunch of new music and some classic albums I lost over the years. One of my new discoveries was this debut album by an Italian band called Settlefish. It was the cover that caught my eye immediately, and although that isn't necessarily a guarantee for good music, the album is really cool.
Deep Elm's catalog contains over 200 releases including records from bands like The Appleseed Cast, Benton Falls, Cross My Heart, Latterman, Planes Mistaken For Stars, ... It's just too much to mention. Their website is one big emo/indie/post-rock/post-hardcore candy store, so go nuts!
