52 Hertz - Somnolence. (2014)

I remember seeing this band once a while ago. They're 3 guys from Würzburg, Germany, about an hour's drive from where I live. I'm pleasantly surprised with their debut EP which they just put out. Definitely worth checking out.

Dikembe - Mediumship (2014)
Genre: Emo / Indie
I was finally able to give this one a spin today. One thing I can tell about it is that Dikembe are showing a more mature side on 'Mediumship', unfortunately a bit at the expense of the energy on previous releases. I'm pretty sure this album will need a few spins to really grow on most you, including myself, but it's a quality record without a doubt.

Beach Slang - Who Would Ever Want Anything So Broken? (2014)

Modern Life Is War recommended this on Facebook and fuck am I glad they did. I'm really digging their 4-song debut EP, it reminded me of Jawbreaker a bit but it's still fucking awesome in its own way.

I always get excited about new projects involving Sean Murphy from Verse, add a few other members from bands like Raindance and Product Of Waste to that and you get a promising new hardcore band called Violent Sons. Debut album 'Nothing As It Seems' out now on Bridge 9 Records.
